OEF addressed UN NGO Briefing
Anna Bowden addressed an NGO Cluster Briefing, “High Tide, High Crime: Piracy and Other Crimes of the Sea” held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on June 10, 2010. Ms. Bowden presented OEF’s perspective on the issue of piracy and our research on international law and piracy. She also shared information about the political and economic costs of piracy.

This Workshop Report summarizes the ideas discussed by the 15 experts who attended and highlightes some issues for further research. OEF Presentation at UNU-WIDER Event
OEF’s former Executive Director, Bob Haywood and former OEF Research Director, Jurgen Brauer, introduced some of OEF's potential core governance concepts at a workshop hosted by the United Nations University’s World Institute for Development Economics (UNU-WIDER).
