OEF's Secure Fisheries program coordinated with the US Department of State and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to develop information-sharing and detection plans for the Safe Ocean Network (formerly "Sea Scout"), a global initiative of the Department of State. Pilot projects as part of the initiative will be presented at the "Our Ocean Conference" to be hosted by Secretary of State John Kerry in September.
