Terry Jones

Director of Operations

Terry Jones serves as the Director, Operations & Administration of One Earth Future. His focus is to provide strategic operational and administrative management focused leadership to the foundation in support of its international development mission. Terry brings a wealth of public sector experience to this role, prior to joining OEF, he served as the Acting Deputy Assistant to the Administrator/Chief Administrative Officer at the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) in the Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs (OAPA). He was directly responsible for all management operations for an 80-person DC based headquarters staff and two of the largest overseas Missions within the agency. Prior to this assignment he served as the Chief, National Recruitment and Outreach for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Key assignments during his Department of Defense career included his work as the Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Under Secretary, Civilian Personnel Policy and senior staffing/recruitment advisor to the White House Chief of Administration. During his career in the U.S. Air Force, Terry was appointed to several senior level administrative and talent management acquisition positions throughout the United States and South Korea. Terry graduated from Bowie State University with a degree in Business Administration; he also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and is currently writing his dissertation to complete his Doctorate of Management degree from the University of Phoenix.
