Sasha Egorova has recently graduated from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver with an MA in International Studies and concentrations in Armed Conflict, Environment, and Project Management. She is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. During her time in graduate school, she worked as a research assistant at the Environment, Food, and Conflict Lab at the Josef Korbel School and as a visiting researcher at the Environmental Law Institute’s environmental peacebuilding program. Prior to joining OEF, she interned in the Sustainability and External Relations department at Newmont Mining. Her primary research interests include post-conflict peacebuilding and the role of natural resources in armed violence. In her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, and learning languages.
