Director of Global Events
Maureen Connolly is an event planning professional who brings extensive national and international experience across diverse markets to One Earth Future. She is the foremost advocate for utilizing events to create social change, as discussed in her TEDx talk on building social capital through events. Maureen is a graduate of the Wagner School at NYU with an MPA focusing on social innovation. Maureen joined One Earth Future to develop world-class events to further the impact and outreach of its research and programs. Her background includes the event development and execution for the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act for the Library of Congress and Newman’s Own Foundation. Other projects include: the Special Olympics World Games, the Sandy Hook symposium: Love Wins, and OPSail: the International Tall Ship event for Peace and Goodwill among Nations for the country’s millennial celebration. In her spare time Maureen enjoys hiking, horseback riding, skiing, and music festivals.
