Sharon Flynn is the Director of the One Earth Future Foundation's Shared Resources program. Sharon has more than 20 years of experience in a range of sectors that include extractives, construction, manufacturing, forestry and non-profit. She has worked in a range of capacities to enhance community engagement and value-add for businesses in that dynamic. Previously, she has worked with Rio Tinto, Newmont Mining, Bechtel, GrupoNueva, Conservation International and The Nature Conservancy, among others. Sharon is an Industry Fellow with the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining at the University of Queensland, Australia. She holds a Master in International Management from the University of California, San Diego. Sharon has deep global experience and has lived and worked in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
