ONN held OSINT Training for Young Deep Cuts Commissioners

In late November, ONN had the pleasure to deliver a two-day course on open source data analysis to the members of the Young Deep Cuts Commission (YDCC). During the two sessions, young arms control experts from Germany, Russia, and the United States learned about the basic tools and techniques for open source data analysis and had a chance to practise their skills in analysing satellite imagery and geolocating ground imagery.

The training was delivered by ONN Analyst Veronika Bedenko.

YDCC is part of the Deep Cuts project, an independent, non-governmental initiative, which provides decision-makers as well as the interested public with concrete policy options based on realistic analysis. The Deep Cuts project is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
