Our Secure Future Partners with Nobel Women's Initiative for WPS Conference

OEF’s Our Secure Future program and the Nobel Women’s Initiative co-hosted the conference Designing Our Secure Future in Ottawa, Canada from June 20-22. The conference brought together thought leaders from around the world to develop a strategic vision and messaging for the future of women, peace and security.

The conference coincided with the Canadian government's announcement of a Feminist International Agenda. Global Affairs Canada consequently invited Our Secure Future and Nobel Women's Initiative to offer guidance to Global Affairs Canada on the solutions and challenges for implementing a women, peace and security agenda.
