As Communication Officer, Fernando designs and implements the communications strategy for One Earth Future's PASO Colombia program. He develops campaigns and strategic messaging for stakeholders, internal communication and public outreach, through audiovisual, written, and graphic materials.
Fernando has more than 20 years of experience integrating communications with social research and information systems for the intervention in social issues. He is a Political scientist from Los Andes University in Colombia and Magister in Cultural Studies from the same institution. He has also done technical studies in information systems, art, animation and filmmaking. He has developed communication strategies and multimedia content for the public sector, NGOs, international cooperation agencies, museums and advertising agencies. Noteworthy among others are Colombia’s Museum of Independence, The Museum of the Caribbean in Barranquilla, The Office of the Mayor of Bogotá, The International Labor Office (ILO), PS Films, Plastilina Creativa, La Hicotea Productions, Corporación Alotropía, Micuidado.com, Común Acuerdo, and Manos Visibles.
