Program Design Officer
Liza Hester is a Program Design Officer with OEF's Future Labs Department, where she helps to design and execute strategies focused on new and ongoing peace initiatives. In August 2015, she received her M.A. in Conflict Resolution from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Her graduate studies focused on the intersections between psychosocial health and peacebuilding in protracted conflict. Prior to joining OEF, Liza served as a Strategic Consultant for SalusWorld in Denver, CO, the Neuroscience and Peacebuilding Graduate Fellow with El-Hibri Foundation in Washington, DC, and a Program Associate with Abraham Path Initiative in Jerusalem. She grew up in Washington, DC and has studied and worked in Jordan, Syria, Myanmar, and Spain.
