Stephanie Thompson is a research assistant for OEF’s Future Labs department. She is responsible for providing foundational research to support new program development. Additionally, Stephanie provides support for special projects relating to the Board’s interests. Stephanie holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics in Theory and History of International Relations and a bachelor's degree in History and International Studies from the University of Denver. While her research background is in 20th century American foreign policy, Stephanie has held a wide array of research positions, ranging from collecting data for National Bureau of Economic Research at the Colorado State Archives to researching issues related to American and Vietnamese economic interests at the American Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. When not at work, you can find Stephanie in the water either playing water polo or working at her side gig as a mermaid at the Denver Aquarium.
