Fellow – External Engagement
As an External Engagement Fellow for One Earth Future, Maureen supports OEF in the development of world-class events to further the impact and outreach of its programs and research. She is an event strategist and innovator who brings extensive national and international experience across diverse markets.
Her background includes event development and execution for the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act for the Library of Congress and Newman’s Own Foundation. Other projects include: the Special Olympics World Games, the Sandy Hook symposium: Love Wins, and OPSail: the International Tall Ship event for Peace and Goodwill among Nations for the country’s millennial celebration. She is the foremost advocate for utilizing events to create social change, as discussed in her TEDx talk on building social capital through events.
Maureen is President of Partnerships for Social Change, advancing innovative partnerships to solve complex issues and making progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Maureen is a graduate of the Wagner School at NYU with an MPA focusing on social innovation.
