María del Pilar Gómez

Information Management Officer

María del Pilar is the Information Management Officer of PASO Colombia. She has more than 7 years of experience developing data tools to effectively capture social phenomena. She has led projects related to characterization of communities, economic development, public health, quality of life, governance and peace, working specially in the generation of information through indicators and indexes, in order to get successful monitoring and evaluation processes. Prior to her current position, she worked as consultant for the International Organization for Migration (IOM of the United Nations system), she was project manager at the firm Cifras y Conceptos, as well as statistical advisor for the National Commission for Reparation and Reconciliation (CNRR for its acronyms in Spanish) and professor at the University Externado of Colombia. She was panelist in the first econometrics’ seminar "Methods and techniques applied to Colombian cases" and participated in the seventh Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business convention.

María del Pilar is economist from the University Externado of Colombia with a master’s degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.
