Susan Quinn is the Deputy Director of Strategic Communications at One Earth Future. In this role, she leads the Foundation’s communications strategy and implementation for the Foundation. She specializes in strategic planning, branding, writing, and editing, particularly in the fields of development and emergency assistance, security issues, African affairs, and U.S. government processes.
Susan is passionate about international communications. Over her 25-year career, including several short- and long-term overseas postings, she has seen how it can reach across borders to build relationships, understanding, and peace. Prior to joining One Earth Future, Susan spent six years as the Strategic Communications Manager at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies and 12 years at USAID, including seven years leading communications on the Agency’s programs in Africa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures from Indiana University.
