Aaron Lathrop-Melting

Business Development Research Analyst

Aaron is a research assistant in OEF’s new program development department (Business Development). Prior to joining the OEF, Aaron conducted spatial data research for the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data project (ACLED), worked at the Center on Human Rights Education (COHRE), and interned within the Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) program at the United States Northern Command (Department of Defense). He holds a Master’s degree in International Security from the University of Denver and Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His research interests include the human and state security impacts of global environmental change. Aaron’s hobbies include climbing and mountaineering, martial arts, playing music, and foreign language.
