María del Pilar is the Information and Operations Manager of PASO Colombia. Her work creates mechanisms for recollecting information and monitoring the progress of PASO Colombia’s projects. She also guides the team on the field to obtain evidence about activities realized on each territory, which allow tracking management indicators, create monthly reports and bring in data for the ILA department. Information consolidated and key facts obtained are important inputs for strategic decision making by the management of the program. In addition, she guides the general operations of PASO.
María del Pilar is an economist from the University Externado of Colombia with a master’s degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. She has experience developing data tools to effectively capture social phenomena. She has led projects related to characterization of communities, economic development, public health, quality of life, governance and peace, working especially in the generation of information through indicators and indexes, in order to get successful monitoring and evaluation processes. Prior to her current position, she worked as consultant for the International Organization for Migration (IOM of the United Nations system), she was project manager at the firm Cifras y Conceptos, as well as statistical advisor for the National Commission for Reparation and Reconciliation (CNRR for its acronyms in Spanish) and professor at the University Externado of Colombia.
