Sierra is the Program Manager for OEF’s Business Development department. She is responsible for leading the research and development of new initiatives, as well as expanding external funding and partnership opportunities for the organization. Sierra is passionate about engaging a diverse range of local and global stakeholders and funders in developing impactful initiatives. Throughout her tenure at OEF she has worked across a wide range of issue spaces and sectors including maritime security, renewable energy, innovative finance, and traditional governance, among others—with a particular focus on the Somali region. She holds a Master's degree in Applied Anthropology with a specialization in International development from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Montana State.
