Graduates demonstrated the knowledge and skills they gained in fish capture, boat repair, and post-harvest processing to the Deputy Minister of Livestock and Fishery Development, other government officers, and key stakeholders.
Each participant was awarded a certificate of achievement. The program aimed to restore livelihoods in the Zeila District after recent natural disasters. It ran from November 20, 2020 to February 21, 2021 and was a USAID-funded collaboration between Secure Fisheries and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
