Mogadishu :  OEF's Shuraako Program recently hosted an inspiring Iftar gathering on March 28th, 2024, at Mogadishu's Paradise Hotel. The event brought together clients, stakeholders, and representatives from various agencies, underscoring a pivotal moment for the program's trajectory and future prospects.

Mahat Mohamed, the newly appointed Director of the Shuraako program, articulated the organization's broader vision under One Earth Future (OEF). "Our mission," Mahat affirmed, "is not merely economic, but deeply intertwined with global security." He emphasized the transformative power of job creation and financial stability, citing them as catalysts for conflict resolution and security enhancement in Somalia.

Established in 2012, Shuraako connects Somali region entrepreneurs to impact capital with aim to foster economic growth, create jobs, and promote stability and peace. Mahat shared personal anecdotes of the positive impact witnessed from Shuraako's investments, emphasizing their tangible benefits for Somali communities. "Our commitment," Mahat said, "remains unwavering."
