City Furniture Industry

City Furniture Industry (“City Furniture”) is a privately owned company established in 2015 in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The company is a local furniture manufacturer of home, office, hotel, school, and kitchen furnishings. City Furniture offers innovative, affordable, and quality wood and metal products. The company is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, finishing, and distribution of household and commercial furnishings and aspires to become the preferred furniture retailer in the Horn of Africa. 

Through a Shuraako-brokered investment, City Furniture was able to continue the expansion of its operations by constructing a new, larger facility on a recently acquired commercial plot in Hargeisa. The facility, intended to be its new headquarters, will house three factory workshops (wood, metal, and painting), two storage areas for raw materials/inventory, one showroom, offices, and staff quarters.
