Suudi Fishing Gear and Accessories Company

Founded in 1980, Suudi Fishing Gear and Accessories Company (“Suudi”) has been a pioneer in Somalia’s fishing industry and is the largest supplier of fishing equipment in northern Somalia. The company’s goal is to supply local fishermen and fishing companies in Somalia with products that will enhance their productivity. Suudi has two stores and nine retail outlets throughout the northern coastal towns of Somalia.

To ensure that products are up-to-date and in stock, Suudi worked with Shuraako to procure fishing gear and equipment in bulk. Through this Shuraako-facilitated investment, Suudi expects its revenues to increase, as the company continues to expand its product line with modern fishing equipment.
