Hafun Fish and Processing Plant (“HFPP”) is a significant influencer of the fishery industry, owning the only cold-chain facility in Hafun, Somalia, where it processes and distributes marine products from local fishermen.

Sun Fishing is a growing fishing company located in Berbera, with an additional branch in Hargeisa. The company owns another plot of land in Berbera for future expansion and plans to further expand into a border city of Ethiopia.

Somali Water Development Union Company (SWDUC) was founded in 2017 through a merger of individual borehole owners in order to combine capital and expand. SWDUC pipes water to households and businesses in three districts in Somalia.
