Andreas Persbo Takes Office as ONN Director

Andreas is a renowned expert on nuclear matters and global security and has had leading roles at some of Europe’s most prominent non-governmental organizations dealing with nuclear affairs, such as the European Leadership Network (ELN) and the Verification Research, Training and Information Centre (VERTIC). In his new role at ONN, Andreas will lead the organization's mission to reduce nuclear risk regionally and globally, including through policy development and public outreach.

Andreas takes the baton from Laura Rockwood, ONN’s inaugural Director, who retired this summer. We are confident that, under Andreas’ leadership, ONN will continue to be a powerful voice for nuclear risk reduction and serve as a vital resource for the international community.
