Kseniia Pirnavskaia Spoke at the BASIC’s Emerging Voices Network Hosted Webinar Event on Humanitarian Impacts and the NPT

The event centered on the humanitarian consequences associated with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and examined the various concerns related to humanitarian impacts in today's security landscape. Kseniia Pirnavskaia focused primarily on the humanitarian consequences of the nuclear testing agenda within the NPT Review Cycle and possible synergies between CTBT(O)'s and humanitarian consequences agendas and how they can elevate each other. She finished with remarks on the role of youth in promoting and developing humanitarian consequences agenda in the NPT Review Cycle process.
