ONN Director Andreas Persbo attends a VCDNP-CNS conference in Krems

On May 26-27, Open Nuclear Network’s (ONN) Director Andreas Persbo took part in an annual conference organised by the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-proliferation (VCDNP) in collaboration with the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS).

Held in the picturesque city of Krems, Austria, the event brought together senior diplomats and officials from international organisations, as well as esteemed representatives from academia and non-governmental organisations for a series of in-depth discussions on critical non-proliferation and disarmament issues that the international community faces, particularly in preparation for the upcoming review cycle of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

Over the years, the VCDNP-CNS conference in Krems established itself as a vital forum for high-level discussions, allowing participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex landscape of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. ONN extends its appreciation to the VCDNP and CNS for their continuous effort to support multilateral collaboration and cooperation in addressing global non-proliferation and disarmament challenges.
