ONN's Inaugural Nuclear Risk Reduction Forum Comes to a Close

On 9-10 June, ONN hosted its inaugural Nuclear Risk Reduction Forum.

The event was held in a hybrid format in Vienna, Austria, and was attended by leading experts and scholars in the fields of conflict de-escalation, security and non-proliferation from China, EU, Japan, Russia, South Korea, the UK and the USA and representatives from major international organizations. A key highlight of the Forum was that it was the first in-person meeting of ONN's formal advisers, the Engagement Network, and its informal advisers since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ONN wishes to convey its sincere appreciation to all the participants who helped to make the Forum a success and looks forward to expanding this initiative

We were excited by and grateful for the depth and breadth of the exchanges, as well as the passion with which each participant contributed to the discussions. I believe this Forum was one of those rare venues where every single participant had something valuable to bring to the table.
